    On the radio this morning one of the biggest critiscms was that he should have made more funds available for small business loans.

      And that's one of the reasons he's getting .9 mill instead of 1.6

      Apparently missed 2/5 of his KPIs

      The shares are also held for three years so can't be cashed in immediately.

      The package was approved by shareholders, including the government.
      When freedom comes along, don't PISH in the water supply.....

                I always used to think that a bonus would be earned when you do stupendously well...not just meeting targets.

                That sounds a bit like what the Greek government used to do isn't it? Pay a base salary and then you have to top it up just to have them do the job the salary is meant to cover.

                      Yea the banks messed up but im getting a bit sick of the almost hysterical banker basking when you read other message boards like on the BBC.

                      £1, 2, 3 million is a lot of money but compare this to the 10% share dip at Lloyds when António Horta-Osório needed some time off.

                      Never is there any mention of footballers getting £250k per week!
