Sadly "Iran sentences someone to death under dubious circumstances" isn't really news.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishing -

I wouldn't go 1000 miles of those Islamic State countries regardless of a sick relative being there or not.Comment

This has nothing to do with them being Islamic, and everything to do with them being corrupt. If he HAD done what they accuse him of - setting up porn sites - THEN we could discuss how appropriate the death sentence is.Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

He wasn't even in Iranian jurisdiction when he allegedly setup those sites - the whole thing on the whole is totally barbaric there, such tulip did not even happen under Saddam Hussein, just another reason why Iraq should not have been attacked - sooner or later he would have fallen like that clown in Libya.Originally posted by d000hg View PostIf he HAD done what they accuse him of - setting up porn sites - THEN we could discuss how appropriate the death sentence is.Comment

If he had not been disposed of "that clown in Libya" would still be in powerOriginally posted by AtW View PostHe wasn't even in Iranian jurisdiction when he allegedly setup those sites - the whole thing on the whole is totally barbaric there, such tulip did not even happen under Saddam Hussein, just another reason why Iraq should not have been attacked - sooner or later he would have fallen like that clown in Libya.Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyoneComment

How is that relevant?Originally posted by AtW View PostHe wasn't even in Iranian jurisdiction when he allegedly setup those sites
IF a country has strict moral laws then putting up a porn site IS very serious. Nothing wrong with that part... it's everything else which is messed up.
AtW, I would expect you to be in favour of death penalties considering your penchant for guns. No?Originally posted by MaryPoppinsI'd still not breastfeed a naziOriginally posted by vetranUrine is quite nourishingComment

No state should have the power of awarding the Death Sentence - Iran nor the USA.
The UK did the right thing in abolishing the Death Sentence.
You see thats why we are refered to as Great Britain.Last edited by AlfredJPruffock; 21 January 2012, 20:52.Comment

It's relevant because normally once someone is out of jurisdiction of a particular place (ie visiting other country) then things done there normally only covered by local laws.Originally posted by d000hg View PostHow is that relevant?
No, I am not in favour of death penalties in general even though some scumbags commit such crimes for which they certainly deserve death.Originally posted by d000hg View PostAtW, I would expect you to be in favour of death penalties considering your penchant for guns. No?Comment
