    Waterstones drops its apostrophe

    Waterstones, the bookshop, has dropped the apostrophe in its trading name and logo, sparking outrage among some of its customers.

      I went to Waterstone's last saturday, in Manchester, as it 'appens. In fact I went to three Waterstone's's, looking for a kids book called 'Deeper'. Two of the Waterstone's's didn't have it, but the third one didn't either.

      next time i go, i'll get a book on abberrant apostrophes
