I'm quite enjoying myself at the moment. Having spent the previous two years bored out my mind testing, it's nice to be back in a development role.
Working on a small system (just me) doing everything, and left pretty much to my own devices - liaising directly with the end users. I find I get my head down and get into a kind of hypnogogic zone and before I know it it's 5pm and hometime

I just had a 'review' today with the MD
his croney, a pretend BA, wondered why my estimate varied between '3 months with a half decent spec', or 'twelve months without'
he clearly believes that a garbled email equates to a spec.
I really think its not my job to educate these folks, but I feel bad for not delivering the impossible.
if that makes sense.
