Security was my concern aswell, good idea but I think you should highlight the security experts advice more or atleast address that your data will be secure in broch's hands.

      Congratulations - I bet it's a good feeling.

I hope that I'm within 3 months or so of launching my oft-delayed plan B

I am about to send you a PM

For anyone that does need to engage a fully fledged security testing outfit I can strongly recommend a firm called "Portcullis" which I've used multiple times to test an extremely high profile (and reputationally vulnerable) site.

I have no commercial or personal relationship with them at all - I'm just a former (and no doubt future) client of theirs.

I last used them in 2007/8 and back then it was £1000pd + VAT and that was allegedly a favourable rate for us as we were a frequent client. But it was so worth it - infact I was embarrassed because that rate was only a little bit above mine and the skills involved are (imo) much more valuable than mine but obviously that's for the market to decide.

Their reporting in particular is excellent. I don't know whether they offer any sort of seal of approval though.

Anyway just thought this might help someone.

Clarification in response to post below: I wasn't questioning the credentials of the 2 guys used for this project - just naming an excellent fully fledged service provider for those who may ever need to engage one

Chaps, as security consultants for banks, my guys have contacts in pen testing companies. Seriously, we've been in IT for almost 100 years between us. Thanks for the advice, but I'd like to think we have it covered.

100 years? oh ffs, what an old git I am.

            My 2p worth.
Get a few of these stuck on the frontpage

Congrats - looks impressive so far.

Have you considered listing your site on places like StartUpLift - Submit Your Startup. Get Featured. Get Feedback. ? It gets your site seen, with the possibility of useful feedback (may be worth having a friend post an initial comment to get more views!). I know that this is already happening here with this thread, but the more such sites you can get on the better. Also put together a PR release and send to the likes of KillerStartups, TheNextWeb, Techcrunch etc - the people who put together their entries and lists, will really appreciate receiving the info as it makes their job easier. Also, have you got the company listed on LinkedIN?
I know you have "like" buttons, but I didn't see any link to twitter or Facebook accounts. don't underestimate the power of these social network sites - a fair number of potential customers will be on there.
And what the others said about security - maybe you need a bigger block or link on the landing page "Why your data is secure - details..."

              Anyways, best of luck

I think your missing the point V8gaz. As much as I think it's a cracking idea I personally wouldn't use a system like this unless a reputable 3rd party had auditted it and you could prove that 3rd party had given it an all clear. Your answer to the valid question isn't good enough to remove my fears.

                So reluctantly I'm out.

(Footnote - It may be I am particularly loath on the collection of personal data having worked on the National Programme on patient records and seeing the blaise way data was moved around/stored)

                  This time next year, Rodney...
From simply reading the main page I'm confused what this does beyond what I put in my smartphone (if I had one) for calendars, etc. Can you do a bit of a spiel?

You also don't seem to list any company information on the site and I believe this IS required.

Also no "contact us" section which really is needed... as I'm putting personal data I want to see a phone number I can call.

                  EDIT: GOOD LUCK!!

I really like the presentation of the main website, the YouTube video is a nice touch.

Couple of questions, I've signed up for the free trial, I've decided I like it and want to pay what do I do? I understand I could wait for the trial to run out but often I just want to take a few mins to evaluate the software then buy. Why isn’t there a signup option where I can just pay without waiting 30 days to enter my credit card details?

The textboxes seem squashed, not much height, doesn’t make it a pleasant experience entering information.

I understand about security but why can't I sign in with my own password, then perhaps click on a confirmation email within 24 hours?

Just reading this back and seems really critical, sorry I don't mean it to be, like the idea of the product (I'm pretty unorganised and this would help). Think the presentation of your site is really good, not too much information but enough to understand what the product does. Like the security page, goes someway to giving me confidence in your site.

Good luck, this time next year eh!
