I took a Banham mortice lock to pieces before Christmas as it failed and my friend was quoted £120 for a replacement. I was expecting it to have anti lock-pick devices inside but all it contained was the leavers and a single spring and bolt. The spring replacement solved the problem. It appears that only some of their locks are pick-proof.

Given there are posters on here who start repeated inflation/deflation or AGW threads on a near-daily basis (or threads on the subject of themselves several times a day), I thought after 3 months another thread on lock security might be ok.

No yale here. Don't know what you call it but we have one of those hexagon types moving three or four latches the length of the door at the same time.
