Thanks for the advice. I've looked at all the costs and can make it work. One thing to watch: a colleague of mine was all set for a gig in Paris, signed and sealed - ended up it suddenly disappeared due to French labour laws, which seem to totally piss on EU rights if there's a French bloke without a job waiting in the wings, ability to do the job not required...
