Maybe the boy racers with their modified shopping trollies aren't so wrong after all, just a bit unfocussed.

Get a decent sized common car and chuck in a supercharged V8. Avoids the jealous cretins at work, and gives you a proper sleeper on the road.

A shortcut would be to get an old Audi S8 or similar. You could then treat your daily commute like a scene out of Ronin.
Feist - 1234. One camera, one take, no editing. Superb. How they did it

Agreed V8's are just great. We have a V8 Discovery 3 for the current family car. Cars that size really should not move so fast. For a real hoot try a Supercharged Range Rover! Not forgetting that there are loads of VW Phaetons knocking around with silly sized engines in them. There's one on autotrader at the moment with a 6ltr W12 engine in it

I don't have a problem with it. Makes sense around town... PDK is better than Tiptronic though if you can get one of the later models. Ok it may be slightly less fun around the twisty bits, but I would probably go for an auto too
Don't ask Beaker. He's just another muppet.

Had a DGS box on an Audi TT its actually MORE fun than the manual in twists because you can set the gears up faster. However my DSG box broke and it virtually wrote the car off (5k gearbox bill on a car that was worth 8k tops)... Thats why I ended up with the family cast off 95 estate. So double clutch boxes are good just keep a good warranty on them...
