Indeed, which explains why I'm not particularly enamoured with any 'country'.

Dailymailonomics again; you're suggesting that there's some swap to be had, as if a Dutch lecturer in the UK or a Hungarian scientist or indeed a Romanian cabbage picker could return to their country and take over the job of the British IT expert or author, footballer or whatever, or indeed the other way around. Your argument is the same as those who believe that the economy is an unexpandable cake that needs dividing up equally. A fallacy.

I have UK clients by way of retainer. Don't ask.

Most of who can spell damn.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Which would make me feel rather out of place in modern Britain.

The word is spelt correctly, the fact its the wrong word is not the same thing

The reason why you children did not get to vote on a EU referendum is because they're many UK nationals like myself with interests in the EU generating wealth for the UK. How little the right understand this.

If the UK left the EU how easy would it be do you think for a UK national to get work in the EU? Simple as today? Think again.
Unlike most of you, I would imagine, I have actually worked in what was then called the EEC long before the current free movement of citizens. It wasn't difficult. There was a bit of form-filling, and you needed an employer to apply, but it was pretty smooth. The EU hasn't really made it easier for more professionals to work in different countries, it has only reduced the paperwork.

And of course "leaving the EU" could just mean joining the EEA, like Norway, or making a pseudo-EEA individual agreement with the EU, like Switzerland. That would still give free movement of labour (not to mention most of the features of EU membership that most British people actually want).

There's a reason you've not moved onto greater things. It shows with every post.
