      A perfect storm.

I missed out on a superb plan B idea: sails for cars.

Edit: Just seen on the BBC website that there are now gusts up to 165mph.

The wind's also too strong for the wind turbines:

Happened to me once when driving fast along a very twisty, although open bnnnn road with a very bad surface (it was close to being unpaved). I was literally having to constantly adjust the steering and battle against the various bumps and pot holes whilst also accommodating a gusty cross wind. After about 20 minutes my arms were f**ked.

Well don't drive so fast on a dodgy road in poor conditions!
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

          I preferred version 1!

I once came over the St Bernardino pass and when I rejoined the motorway and came down the other side towards Lugano there was a massive storm with lightning striking the ground 100m or more below where I was. That was pretty spectacular.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

I think less the physicality, as the stress causing you to grip very tight and be tense the whole time.

Probably, I usually sing along to Radio 2.

Made it in less than an hour.

A very surreal journey – local flooding joining the motorway, but once on the road, it was very empty – most were put off.

Lanes 2 and 3 were totally empty, and found it bizarrely easier to drive at speed coming back – must be because I was heading into the wind coming over, but wind was behind me going back!

Sleet and slow forecast for this evening though
