Now that would be a cracking alternative - and only adding about 300 miles to his journey

My job is to provide solutions, I never said they would be "good" solutions.

Woodhead pass would be an intersting journey. I drive up there once and saw the rain being blown up a very steep hill! It was also the first place I ever drove in a blizzard. The part where the road drops away and there is a massive drop to the reservior below was scary - especially when you can't really see the road!
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

              I preferred version 1!

A66 is hardly a good shout if it gets bad either. Those big metal gates they can close are a bit of a giveaway

Saw some birds flying backwards today, as they attempted to land and take off from the bird table in the garden.

Though they were probably being blown backwards rather than doing it by choice.

The lazy neighbourhood cats were nowhere to be seen, missed out on some easy pickings.

[that's about as interesting as it gets working from home ]

Do you not have power steering then? How weedy do you have to be to be aching from steering a car?
