I'm just about to start watching Veep the new Armando Iannucci US series. If you have seen "The Thick Of It", it's the same guy. Also I'm going to give Homeland a try.

Just finished the first series of Veep, apparently it's been commissioned for a second series. I thought it was quite good for a US comedy. Anyone else?Originally posted by Spacecadet View PostThanks!

Started watching "The Newsroom" from the guy who made "The West Wing"

Nearly finished series 3 of modern family - watched all the episodes in the space of 5 weeks. What a cracking comedy it is, absolutely loved every minute. So depressed I have nearly finished them all.
It's gonna be tough just watching a single 20 min episode per week when series 4 starts.

It did, channel 5 IIRC. I watched 1 or 2 episodes years ago and wasn't that bothered.Originally posted by d000hg View PostI'm watching Californication on Netflix right now. Not sure if that made it to UK TV.
So, do you recommend, or no?
EDIT: Good lord, season 4 !!
