He'll pretend he won't understand a word, come back to Britain and blame Sarko. What Dav Cam does well is the blame game<Insert idea here> will never be adopted because the politicians are in the pockets of the banks! -
ABC - Anyone But Cameron to blame. Sarkosy will tell him, you are either fully in the Euro or not.Originally posted by petergriffin View PostHe'll pretend he won't understand a word, come back to Britain and blame Sarko. What Dav Cam does well is the blame gameComment

Dave will declare that we are joining the euro with the exchange rate at parity. Devaluing the currency will help us boom, house prices are corrected overnight and the proles will be happy with twice as many bank holidays and not getting screwed on fx every time they go on holiday.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'Comment

Britain's position at the moment is irrelevant. Not even the Germans want to bail out Euroland. I think they have either a plan B and let the Euro collapse and go back to the DM (a consistent part of CDU has always been against the Euro) or it's simply the case of desperate housewife Angela not having a clue. Either cases it's quite likely that the Germans will deliver a massive depression. Danke schoen!<Insert idea here> will never be adopted because the politicians are in the pockets of the banks!Comment

Being the whiney wimp he is, he'll take the least scary option rather than the boldest.Originally posted by russell View Post

Does Sarkozy count for anything at the moment? What's the point of speaking to the servant when the master won't listen?<Insert idea here> will never be adopted because the politicians are in the pockets of the banks!Comment

I can't see it making any difference to the UK. But DC wants to appear a global leader and put his weight about. I suppose its better than dealing with all the issues the UK has.Originally posted by russell View PostMeeting now to discuss refounding of Europe, wonder if Dave will stand strong or fold.Comment

As is happens there is a quantitative method of classifying its future shape:The Paris talks came ahead of a crucial meeting of European leaders next week about the future shape of the EU.
Type 1: Separate hard lumps, like nuts (hard to pass)
Type 2: Sausage-shaped, but lumpy
Type 3: Like a sausage but with cracks on its surface
Type 4: Like a sausage or snake, smooth and soft
Type 5: Soft blobs with clear cut edges (passed easily)
Type 6: Fluffy pieces with ragged edges, a mushy stool
