Ok serious answer, money is the deciding factor, if that is right then all the other factors can be dealt with, I would like to say location is the most important to me, however there are very few contracts in the South West so realistically this never comes into consideration, I am happy to work anywhere, I use that as my USP.

Client wise I am not fussed about "Blue Chip" or the like

Length of contract is also important in a downturn. Some time ago in dodgy times I turned down a steady six-month extension to move to a 10-week contract close to home on a much better rate. But when that ended I was out of work for 10 weeks.

It's true that blue chip isn't that important but it is a little bonus, I found that agents and clients like seeing them on my CV.
