I'd be very careful about buying anything which falls under Greek tax juristiction; someone I know who moved over there and built his own place is now being hounded by tax officials and threatened with court after they decided to change how the height of a perimiter wall should be measured.
Apparently he's not alone and several other ex-pats are being hounded for other spurious "tax infringements"Coffee's for closersComment
