The city is like one of those giant stars wobbling during the last moments of fusion, followed by a brief period of darkness and then kaboom.
Pretty to look at and about as significant as a fart in a jacuzzi."Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience". Mark TwainComment

Was that when you were living in luxury in Hyde Park?

The City has been around for 400 years and will still be around when your insignificant remains have turned to dust.

A supernova isn't insignificant, if it wasn't for such an event you wouldn't be here.Originally posted by scooterscot View PostThe city is like one of those giant stars wobbling during the last moments of fusion, followed by a brief period of darkness and then kaboom.

Well, it's physics, chemisty and a bit of luck. Inside a star is made some of the elements, when a star explodes it spreads those elements out into space, eventually a new star forms, creates more complex elements and so on.Originally posted by scooterscot View PostHow so?
We're all made of star stuff.Comment
