It's not always good to do what's only best for Britain, if you take that to its logical conclusion then we end up doing what the Nazis did.

      That's quite an extrapolation!
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

        Bingo !!!
Godwin's law (also known as Godwin's Rule of Nazi Analogies or Godwin's Law of Nazi Analogies)is a humorous observation made by Mike Godwin in 1990 that has become an Internet adage. It states: "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches

          Pots, kettles, black.

Yes it is indeed. It's the same kind of extrapolation that equates the rather passive act of falling out of a womb in some location to having the interests of a nation at heart.

I'm assuming you have some kind of connection & affinity with the person whose womb you just happened to fall out of?

Representative democracy is rubbish. It's corrupt, factional , inefficient and slow.

We need to worry about where the voters come from, not some arbrary ,quota filled failed polytechnic media studies twonk.

If we gave each individual voter a real say, using a big interweb database, we might get some real democracy in this God-forsaken hell-hole

Not really, first you deny non Brits voting rights, then other rights, it's not hard to see that the next step would then be penning your final solution to problem of non Brits. Thin end of the wedge and slippery slope etc, etc.

You are assuming, which is dangerous, but in this case you are right. However, this has little to do with suitability to represent voters.

He goes further; he wishes to deny Brits the right to choose people born somewhere else to represent them; in effect, he's taking away the right of British people to recognise the contribution of those born outside the UK by electing them to office.

I'd say it's more than half way to the thick end of the wedge.

Correct. But in Troll's case, the drawing of wholly inaccurate assumptions merely scratches the surface.
He is dangerously stupid in his thinking, though fortunately in no position to influence any but the similarly hard of thinking.
