Why should there be limits in economic expansion - just look at the Universe - its been expanding for around 14 billion years - and dont forget that a World War does create a huge opporunity for many industries - yes expect WW3 any time soon- we'll all be better off in the long run.
Thatcher claimed there was no such thing as a free lunch - but she was wrong - you see the Uinverse itself is the ultimate free lunch.Last edited by AlfredJPruffock; 1 November 2011, 18:18. -

I'm not so sure the universe is finite, perhaps not in size but possibly in time as it dies a heat death but remains forever as a collection of cold, dark cinders.Originally posted by d000hg View PostIt's the same, but more so. You wouldn't understand.Comment

The majority of the Western world was responsible for the "catastrophe".Originally posted by Jeff Maginty View PostHas anyone noticed that in all this fuss over the global financial crisis of the last few years, the one glaring omission from the debate is to mention those who were responsible for this catastrophe and thereby confront their mistakes?
.
Hubris, not a little racism, a sense of entitlement, poor leadership, brainless consumerism, an inability to see change coming are all factors.
HTHHard Brexit now!
