How much "loose change" do you have lying around the house?

I'll start with £850, mostly in £20 notes, but with 4 50's and some 10's

    Any higher bids?

Edit: and as a bonus question, who here throws loose change into the bin because you can't be bothered to use it properly?

Last time I was in Geneva airport I went to get a small sum out for airport chocolate and ended up pressing the wrong button so there is about 500 swiss francs somewhere. A couple of hundred US dollars and a book or two of asian notes.

When we lived in Nigeria we had about 30 million US dollars hidden in the cellar, but since then successive military governments have used our house as a residence for senior officers; I'm looking for someone trustworthy who'll help me retrieve this money, but you'll need to put up about $10,000 up front so I can arrange travel for you.

A few hundred pounds, similar amount of euros and sundry dollars, yen and swiss francs and so on, perhaps worth £200 in total.

If I leave money lying around at home and then come back after a week at clientco, I can never find the money again, but the good Lady is always wearing nice new shoes.

No notes but we have a change bottle and a £2 coin tin. It's amazing how quick the £2's add up.

I still think that way; you and I are a bit out of place among all the financial bigshots on CUK!

Me too. I dumped the loose change, not including £1 and £2 coins, into the machine at the supermarket, came to about £90. And there's another £60 - £70 in £1's and £2's that I grab a handful of before I head out.

Apart from that I've got various foreign cash in a drawer somewhere, €200-300, ~$200, a few thousand Czech Koruna and some AU$.
