Nothing that I posted on this thread should be construed as racist in anyway, I have an opinion on 'Englishness', that does not mean I am Anti-English. The majority of my friends are English, my other half is English. The likelihood is that my offspring are going to be 'hybrid'. I don't have an issue with any of that.

Banter is what invariably flows between people who actually get on and is considered humorous and non-offensive between those 'bantering'. So even though MF in general is offensive, his posts are usually done tongue in cheek and are taken as such. Troll however is an odious piece of work whose sole intention is to cause offence.

You can call it grassing all you want, but to be honest it would treat the troll a lesson and even kick him into touch. It's no skin off my nose, half an hour of scouring his posts, grab post ID's, collate report for the police, list offences committed, provide contact details for Admin@CUK and drop it off at my local nick. You'll be surprised how receptive the police are to issues when you collate it in such a way that they don't have to break a sweat.

It's all crime statistics to them and practice to me.

If you re-read the thread you will see that the attacks were initiated and sustained by posters of Scottish origin, and after a poor opening you made some interesting and valid (although to me wrong) posts that were worthy of further discussion
It's a shame that you had to spoil it, involve admin, play the racist card & get a poster banned, and if that is going to be your normal response then the forum will suffer as a result

I was logged off when Chaffinch was banned. The only contact I have had with Admin was after Chaffinch had been banned where I have asked him if my reporting you to the police would have any repercussions on CUK. Chaffinch does not bother me.

I really don't get your point? I take it you're defending Troll though and just writing it off as banter? It's not banter to me, banter's a two way thing and normally both parties are well in on it being banter. Now in the good old fashioned real world, if someone like Troll offended me in person we'd discuss it in person. Knowing Troll to be the type of person though who thinks he can hide behind the veil of anonymity, I'm entirely justified flushing him out with whatever means I have at hand. I'm quite averse at using the mechanisms of the legal system to resolve my issues.
