It's too nice an evening to be stuck in a hotel room

Yeah but some people leave big enough gaps for me to sneak in infront of them.

      Still shirt sleeve weather here.

Took the picturesque route home and it was lovely.

Pork chop under grill, spuds and salad already prepared. Ice cold beers in the fridge.

      Sorted.

And here I am finishing off my expense account dinner and a beer and getting wound up by the noise of the traffic. I will be glad to get back to my own house.

        It's still 25 degrees here though )
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Why won't German companies spring for air con? Cheap skates.

            A) not enviromentally friendly
            B) Germans are convinced that cold draughts are deadly. Have you not seen them reach for the scarves the moment it dips below 20 degrees?

I thought that was a fashion thing that only the skinny ones were into to?

They've got the Green parties to contend with.

The offices I was in some years ago did have feeble aircon, but that was after a prolonged fight with the local council which was dominated by someone of the Green persuasion. We had 2 or three beefy desktops per person, plus a few servers tucked under desks, and it could get pretty hot. Without any aircon it would have been murder.

Pop into Maxwells and ask them for a Kamikaze shot. Lovely stuff.

You're so correct but I'm sitting in my hotel room having had a rather nice Bangladeshi Prawn curry and am following footie on the web while working on how I can become a 'Teenage BFF.'

(Should actually be doing my CV as I worked out I only have around 44 days left on my current contract...)
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

And the evening gets better: ManU having led at half time are now being beaten by the Swiss and ManC are being gubbed by the Germans...
