Captain Blackadder: Well, perhaps a little.
General Melchett: Well, then, damn it all! What more evidence do you need? The pooh-poohing alone is a court martial offense!
Captain Blackadder: I can assure you, sir, that the pooh-poohing was purely circumstantial.
General Melchett: Well, I hope so, Blackadder. You know, if there's one thing I've learnt from being in the Army, it's never ignore a pooh-pooh. I knew a Major, who got pooh-poohed, made the mistake of ignoring the pooh-pooh. He pooh-poohed it! Fatal error! 'Cos it turned out all along that the soldier who pooh-poohed him had been pooh-poohing a lot of other officers who pooh-poohed their pooh-poohs. In the end, we had to disband the regiment. Morale totally destroyed... by pooh-pooh!
Do you like my new ruff blackadder?

I still don't know what 'norks' are? My Settings page is littered with references to them. I asked the old man but he just shouted at me to use the Search function. I'm none the wiser. Is it some contracting or techie jargon?

        Yes.

        AND NAND NOR NORK

Logical if you think about it.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Ooooh, I like it when you talk like that. I wish my old man knew words like that. Last time I got any action was when he used to POKE his ZX81.

Not sure if you can. You certainly can not say it using over sized red letters.

Dont underestimate the power of the double entendre when conflated with the substitute rude word, especially if the audience are familiar with the technicalities of the substitute.

              e.g.

'Oh yes, I have come across some interesting flanges in my time. Big, Small, some sporting a wide diameter, some tight. The ones with the wide lips are the best, they need screwing down hard, but only after they have been well greased and touched up with a rasp'
