        Apologies if anyone has mentioned it, but bungey posting today so no time to read thread ..

        Hal was the nickname of Henry V in Bill's play of that name, hence the "King".

        Also "cyan" is a shade of blue I think. So stretching a point, that would account for the "cyon".

        I hate quiz crosswords though.
