    Brazilian Rain Forests

Brazilian landing strips, bald eagles, or hairy monsters?

    That is the question.

What does your other half have, what do you prefer?

For me, it has to be a well tended forest. The forrester has to ensure the growth remains within specified boundaries, so no spilling over onto the path.

Bald eagles are worrying, and land strips just weird.

The trouble with a 'well tended forest' is that the pruning can be so severe as to create a 'punjee stick' effect. Guaranteed to injure even the most careful traveller.

The trick is to trim the edges, not the height.

A triangle shape is the perfection sought.

In my garden one time the whole lawn was removed. It was quite pleasant whilst it lasted. However, it was re-seeded and grew back quicker than ever.

Now I ask the gardener to keep it very well trimmed on the front lawn and I've patioed over the back, so I can park my motor.
