Totally random phone call from a neighbour.

A tv company want a house like mine for some outdoor filming.

Get the impression not for a lot of long term work, just to film the outside with the actors coming and going, as most of the action will be inside the house, which will be built on a purpose built set.

They are coming to see me and measure up this evening. They also sad they will need to discuss money with me - would be a bonus to get paid for that to be honest.

If you get a call more random than that tonight, I would like to hear about it!

No, it is for a sofa commercial

Actually for a sit com, something about a working man out and about to different houses and businesses. The inside filming all done from a set, but they need some outside shots of both the house to make it look more realistic, as well as the scene setting for someone to walk out and fall into the mock garden pond they will be building.

Hopefully I will be able to get a garden makeover from this if I am lucky!

You will also need them to cover redecorating, etc. as the heavy equipment can do a lot of damage. Don't be too quick to sign on the dotted line, ask if you can contact some previous house owners, do some research.
