I recommend that you have a nice weekend.Originally posted by suityou01 View PostStill no feedback.
Interview happened at 10am this morning. I had some flannel from the agent about the initial response being very positive, but nothing tangible as yet and that they hoped to get it all wrapped up today one way or another.
I honestly don't know why they feck around.
Either
a) You're hired. Have a nice weekend.
b) Feck off you're rubbish. Have a nice weekend.
All this making me sweat over the weekend crap is most annoying.
Fortunately I have just been informed I have a telephone interview for Monday lunchtime (another gig).
So things are looking up at least.Comment

In the good old days I went for an interview (agent #1), and at the end the client said we will “let you know”.Originally posted by suityou01 View PostStill no feedback.

Half an hour later an agent #2 phoned and want me to go to another interview the other side of London and in a couple of hours. On the way a agent #3 phoned, I explained the situation and she said “ the client has seen your CV, no need for and interview you can have the contract now.”
Five minutes later, agent #1 phone and said good news you’ve got the gig. Too late I replied, just had an offer. Agent #1 said “ I told client co they can’t ask a contractor to wait a couple of hours otherwise they will lose the opportunity.

Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.
