Rumours flying around on Twitter that a tiger has escaped/been released from London Zoo by rioters and is now roaming Primrose Hill, seeking whom it may devour

The photograph inspiring this particularly idiotic bit of "news" is in fact of a tiger that made its way out of an Italian circus in 2008 and wandered around for a bit before being taken home

Another 'idiotic' picture doing the rounds is of the army in tanks in Bank.

The picture is actually from a few months ago of the Arab spring uprising in Tahrir Sq, Egypt.

One of my Facebook connections thought it was real.
