The Police

This is a monumental screw up by the Tories. When Thatcher came to power, she raised police wages considerably and creating incentives to move to subsidised mortgaged housing, moving them to a middle class status, which meant that when she went after the working class, the police were behind her. The decline in class warrior skills in the Tory leadership is I am afraid symptomatic of the decline of this once great nation. -
I have yet to see the police truncheon someone, mostly it has just been shielding away and they will of course be too frightened to give anyone a kicking in case they come up on charges.
The lefties muzzled the riot cops after Tomlinson now they are crapping their pants as their local shops are getting pummelled night after night.Comment

WHS. Lets stop trying to win hearts and minds in Afghanistan and start breaking kneecaps in Wandsworth.Originally posted by Sockpuppet View PostWhat I really want to see is some 6'5" para to stand on the Tele and proclaim words to the effect of "Stop ******* about, the next one to throw a brick gets filled in".
You can't riot with 2 broken legs.
These trouble makers need discipline. Conscript them in the army and let some 6'5'' bulldog barking Sarge give them the 'love' they missed out on by their missing dads. What happens in General, stays in General. You know what they say about assumptions!Comment

I take it you've never been battered over the head with an extendable truncheon by a copper who has just jumped out of a van with no numbers on his uniform? I have and it's not nice. In fact, it's a serious assualt and breach of public office. It just doesn't happen when the cameras are around and there's nothing you can do about it.Originally posted by minestrone View PostI have yet to see the police truncheon someone, mostly it has just been shielding away and they will of course be too frightened to give anyone a kicking in case they come up on charges.

Yeah, given that this whole thing started when a police officer fatally shot an unarmed man, then your idea of shooting them will cause London to become a war zone , chavs vs police, then the police will join the chavs and the army will be called in.Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostWHS. They have better tech than lethal bullets these days.
Arm them with paintball guns filled with indelible ink. If the multiple stings doesn't desuade the scum, they can easily identify them afterwards.
Give each squaddie a different colour so they can tot-up 'kills' and 'civilian casualties' later. That would encourage accurate targeting if the winners got a reward.
If it continues let them move onto plastic bullets, then live ones. At some point the scum will realise they're in for a kicking if they don't stop.
Instead we'll have Cameron on the telly saying it's unacceptable and people should respect their communities, and please stop being naughty think how it will look to the world and the damage it will cause in the run up to the olympics.

In times like these the rule book goes out the window as far as I am concerned.Comment

Yep, even Cameron said you have a right to defend your family and home with whatever means necessary.
I expect if the authorities don't make a concerted effort to contain the problem then tonight we'll see more vigilante gangs protecting their communities. Hope that you live in a community that gives a damn and is willing to stand up for themselves.
If you're on your own maybe better to move out till it settles down. Sod going to work and going through the motions. Pack up your valuables and go on holiday.Feist - 1234. One camera, one take, no editing. Superb. How they did it

That's why the police aren't touching anyone because everyone has mobile phone cameras.Originally posted by Old Greg View PostI take it you've never been battered over the head with an extendable truncheon by a copper who has just jumped out of a van with no numbers on his uniform? There are also journalists down on the ground reporting live from their mobile phone cameras like the guy who was on Sky news."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JRComment
