Any technical stuff out there detailing what we have ended up with?

(or is that on a need to know basis...)

Bestg place to look is e-health insider. There are still implementations going on, so I guess some organisations will continue within the contracts and some go outside.

Just google "clusterf*ck" and you will get the Lion's share of the status quo.

Google for the following with NHS prefixed

            Spine
            PACS
            N3
            NHSmail
            Choose and Book

Nothing hugley technical but gives an idea of what has actually been delivered so far. Although there is more technical detail available about N3.

Electronic Patient Record (Care Records System/Service) is the big one.

I had several friends working on SPINE release management, performance management and testing.

They were from West Yorkshire. 'Nuff said........

Yeah, but thats not really fully delivered yet. Of circa 32.5m patients only 7.2 million have had summary records created so far and there are still ongoing issues.
