The camera on the east side of Chideock is notorious for flashing at cars heading east (it actually points west).
It has flashed me several times and usually when there is a car coming westwards.
IIRC, some cameras don't even need a flash. The IR and specs ones certainly don't. You just get the pink slip in the post.
