I think the Nazi thinking was that Britain would eventually fall into line and work with them in some respect. Old Adolf quite respected us and invasion was not top on his list.

POLICE last night charged Derek Hatton with conspiring to defraud an insurance company and the theft of a motorised horsebox.
The 48-year-old former deputy leader of Liverpool City Council was charged after being questioned for almost 10 hours at Wavertree Road police station in the city. Mr Hatton went to the station voluntarily.
