I once went northwards for a time, to sample their delights.
But all I saw were half-dressed birds, having alcopops and fights.
I’d hoped to see the shipbuild yards, that once built our great navy
But sadly they’re all closed down now, so I had chips with cheese and gravy.
I’d heard the landscape was superb, will rolling peaks and dales
