He is such a dreary twat. No wonder his girlfriends ended up in comas.

Nobody comes up with these lines anymore.
The Smiths were quite funny in an oo-er-missus way and also very provocative. Not much of their stuff is miserable though.
The bass and lead guitars were superb.
The best band of the 80s in my opinion. I keep coming back to them.Comment

"Every day is like Sunday" - superb.
"You're the one for me fatty" - funny.
Everything else; dreary an/or pretentious sh1te.Comment

Strange that Morrisey always provokes such vitriolic responses? Whilst working in a build room at IBM I had some guy (who was just walking passed) burst in and have a go at me for playing The Smiths, he got quite upset, he couldn't just understand how anyone could enjoy his music? He left in a huff.
I like both The Smiths and Morrisey, I'm a 'happy go lucky' type.Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment
