I doubt it - IMHO you are bound to work until the final day of the notice period whoever served the notice (otherwise whats the point of the notice period)Originally posted by Muggersyes, erm?

Nope,
You are bound to work on the contract untill the notice period ends, otherwise whats the point in having one.
Having said that talk to the client. If they are terminating they may well be happy to save a few extra quid by letting you go sooner."Being nice costs nothing and sometimes gets you extra bacon" - Pondlife.Comment

On the other hand have you thought of speaking to the current client. You are about to save him/her a tidy packet by not requiring them to pay you for the notice period.Comment
