Sydney - massively expensive property. It actually rains for about 3 months solid in the winter. It's a cultural wasteland.
Auckland - city is dead at the weekends, there's more to do in Bracknell. More of a cultural wasteland than Sydney.
    Singapore - never been.
Switzerland - is probably the best of the bunch. At least you can go somewhere else easily if you get bored (and you will).

Having lived in the antipodes for a while, I can safely say "it's not all beer, surfing and hot chicks in bikinis".

Unless you're into the whole snow thing, Switzerland has got to be one of the most boring countries to work in. I spent years working there in a previous life and couldn't wait to get home to London every weekend!

It's fashionable to knock Milton Keynes but there's nowt wrong with it. It's spacious, clean, green, plenty to do and well layed out. Plus economically it is fairly well off and it's got good transport links.

It's the suicide capital of the uk. That ought to ring some alarm bells.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

I went to the Sydney art gallery thinking "big rich city, must have fine art" and it was finger painting by the natives stuff. Even in the backwater of Glasgow I can see a Rembrandt 10 minutes walk from my door at the Burrell.

But then again I used to work on the boats in the harbour and it is the most stunning work environment.

Oh, I totally agree - I used to do guided night dives around Watson's bay which is just amazing when you surface after dark, but even that got tired eventually.

It would appear the top 10 locations are in Scotland and Wales with Blackpool featuring top of the England list.
