Blimey.....I knew she had a few kids, but 10 ?Reality television participant Lizzie Bardsley has been charged with 10 counts of child cruelty.
So they're finally charging her for giving birth then ? Considering their mum, I'd say that that qualifies for child cruelty.
I can see how this is going to pan out.
Court will rule against her. Social Services do a snatch and grab and pack the little squirts off to the local child abuse home. Several exclusives in the national press about "Lizzie Lost Her Kids", appearances on Breakfast telly, more exclusives "Lizzie Tells Her Story of Heartbreak", "Every Mother's Nighmare", followed by an announcement that RSD intends to go to the EU Court of Human Rights, followed by an appeal in which Lizzie wins the kids back, more exclusives in the papers "Little Joey's Stay of Hell", followed by Lizzie starting some vacuous charity for Single Mothers Accused of Child Abuse (S.M.A.C.A), followed by.....oh I give up.Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
