There must be a market for selling bacon sandwiches on the street, cooked in front of the bewitched public soon to be willingly parted from their money. In Germany I've seen people selling Bratwursts, cooking them on stoves strapped to their backs, which must be quite uncomfortable.

I have seen them standing in 26° with the grill on full cooking away, can't think it would be worth it.

Only if they are self-employed, which I hope to god they are, in which case it might be good money if you can stop (for a sausage!) before you faint. Doing that on minimum wage, which mostly doesn't exist in Gremany, would be awful.
