I was watching, but the helicopter camera was panning over the chateaux and other landmarks instead of the race, and missed the accident. We only got the carnage afterwards.
Cavendish is a monster though, eh?

Should learn to ride without falling off before entering the race
Even SY managed L2B with the stabilisers off - though I'm not sure there is photo evidence the stabilisers were off.
