    Yes. In fact I spoke to Laterooms and they said that they always pass on the card details to the hotel as a matter of course. My argument is that it does not say that on their website not does it say that in their T&Cs.

    It does mean that any time you make a booking with Laterooms your card details are sent unencrypted to any old hotel reception computer that anyone can have access to.

      The chances are you would have to give them to the hotel yourself if you booked direct though, most hotels will want the information so they can charge for last minute cancellation.

      I don't think you can really blame laterooms for the situation, I mean it's one thing if you booked a package holiday with thomas cook but when you use a booking service you chose to give the hotel your CC details one way or another the moment you book. It's probably better that it happened like this than them going on a spending spree while you were there and leaving you high and dry with a maxed out card and a bit of difficulty persuading the CC company that only half the transactions were yours.

      Puts a bit of a downer on the holiday though.
