    Easy.

    Hawksmoor

The best damn burgers in London. Make GBK seem like Wimpy. The burger menu is off-piste by the way - ask for it especially, call ahead and reserve. I recommend the house burger with beer-battered chips and home-made hollandaise. They serve some fine single malts too.

The whopper is the best high street burger by a country mile. Remember seeing a program about Ben & Jerry ice cream and they were both tucking into them saying how great they were.

Burgers are all about the seasoning, beef quality kind of takes a back seat in the burger when texture and tenderness are taken out the equation with the process.

It's also important to consider the quality of salad and bun. BK usually have decent salad which makes the whole experience less greasy.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

The tomato has no place in a burger IMO, none whatsoever.

                    db Bistro Moderne, New York:

Contains shredded pork spare ribs and truffles.

My own home-made burgers come a close second though.

I've never had burgers better than my home made but a lot of places in the US really do make a great burger.

The Champany Inn probably has the best burgers, steak etc of any place I've been in the UK. GB and TB frequent the place unfortunately but don't let that put you off if you ever feel like a superb eating experience.
