So, they can't fix it today and here I am in my hotel room in Leeds. They did have a last-minute cancellation in Newcastle (my local clinic which had no spots hence coming to Leeds) for tomorrow at 0830. Not sure if that's a silver lining or a PITA.
It feels wrong to check out of a hotel 3hr after checking in. They'll pay for it but still, feels a waste.

They can do the check-ups anywhere, doesn't have to be the same place that operates on you.

Laser eye surgery that is. Come down to Leeds for the day but their PC is playing up so I'm back in the hotel while a technician is called out to fix it.

Maybe the delay is God's way of telling you to get a corneal inlay instead.

At least they're reversible if anything goes pear shaped.
