Blue Peter's Andy Akinwolere sets two swimming records

Swimming in deep water can feel a bit creepy, but I suppose it makes no difference whether it's 2km or 8km. I also find swimming above dark patches (of e.g sea weed), close to cliff edges and where a beach slopes rapidly downward into an impenetrable abyss a bit creepy too.

Respect. I never learned to swim until I was 30 and still feel the same unease getting in deep water.
