I have outsourced all my spending to the missus
She spends it, monitors the spending, then reports back every now and then to tell me everythings ok

WHS x100. Amazing how much I missed this when skillset value fell to NMW + a quid. REALLY appreciate this again now I am back earning decent coin.
Happy to spend a bit on the way through (weakness for cars, almost cured) but reserves have to be earning their keep and building for the future. Money = choices and that is a luxury.

Got a chunk of CWW myself, its easing upwards heading towards divi day but expect a kicking afterwards. Fundamentals are patchy and only a takeover is likely to change the picture.

It will of course drop 3 pence Mr Prawn as you are fully aware.

Of course at a yield of 9%, it means the share is undervalued and should in theory increase in the run up to the 8th. So anywhere between 55-60 is a super billy bonus.

Though it is odd. KCOM has gone up 20% on a much lower divvy in the last week. So it's not an exact science.

Not round my way - a lot of the yoof have conned HMRC into funding their vehicles (ferraris, lamborghinis etc).

I think I can afford a discretionary expense if I can pay for it, not just this time, but on as regular a basis as is applicable, out of investment income, even if I live forever. (To be clear, I'm assuming that non-discretionary expenses are already indefinitely sustainable from investment income.)

I think I would need a net worth of paid for home plus £1 million before I could justify buying a new car.

On the other hand, I took skiing holidays even when out of work and in negative equity, on the basis that if you don't use this winter's snow when it's there, it's an opportunity lost forever.
