Best holiday i've ever had, probably cause the missus and little one enjoyed it so much as well.

2 internal flights, a helicopter ride, a couple of boats.

What more can a 4.5 year old want?

First half of trip involved the beach, California coastline and 2 days at Disneyland. She was sold on the holiday from thereon.

Not sure on final tally, would need to ask the boss (navigator).

            That sounds excellent

Do you think she was just at the right age or do you reckon you could have done it when she was a bit younger?

Well, from a road trip perspective she handled it fine. She was the perfect age for disneyland for example but perhaps the majesty of the grand canyon for example was slightly lost on her. As long as you do a kids type activity every second day or so, which we did, she was A1.
