    The pirate one was absolutely dire. It was like they went out of their way to make it as cheesy as possible. When you're spending millions of pounds producing 45 minutes of footage - did no-one at the top wonder if they had got it spectacularly wrong.

    The Neil Gaiman written episode (ep4) was pretty good - one of the best in a while.

              Nope - caught me by surprise. There was a big clue about halfway through, when the baby is named Melody Pond, but I didn't pick up on it.

              It also means that Moffet has been planning this for quite a while, pretty much casting it in stone when Amy Pond's character was created.
