Not at all. I'm the same, a bit. I don't exactly love them, but do see them as a chance to get out of the house and meet vaguely like-minded people.

Must admit, I like them too, it's the challenge and probably related to success rate. Some basic insecurity covered up by confident exterior but that requires constant validation probably...
