There as the public doesn't care as long as the affair is consensual and there is no chance of corruption unlike what has been alleged more than once about the ex-head of the IMF.

I think the guy was going to retire in a few years but even then lots ex-footballers tend to become football pundits, managers or coaches.

This means they aren't out of the media eye.

      Yawn. WTF cares?

The more of this non-news I see the more I think it's just a meedja circus to spin more newspaper sales.
While the Irish newspapers are now reporting it from the Spanish newspapers.

When I found out by looking for the person on twitter and reading their tweets a couple of weeks ago, I was disappointed as well.......

There will be a lot more than 20,000 fans singing his name! Editors will ensure his picture will be in the papers tomorrow, no doubt placed cheekily next to an article about the super injunction. They did the same to Jack Straw when his son was caught with cannabis and it was still a secret.

Is this that Wayne Rooney story again?

Or is it just yet another "over-paid, thick, ugly, footballer shags model" story?

More worrying is the likes of the hyper-injunctions that prevent even Parliament knowing of their existence, and that the serious super-injunction stories (dumping of toxic waste, cruise ships with toxic water tanks) get ignored in all the fuss.

If it is the end of the world this evening, we've brought it on ourselves.

Rant, rant, rant. OK, I'm outta here. I'm even boring me. Even boring myself, I am, yes.

And on a totally unrelated note, Ryan Gigg's solicitor has just bought a new speedboat. Allegedly.

I wonder how long it takes before Admin gets a call from a footballers solicitor?
