I guess you are right, looking at the rep comments for me 95% of the negs are saying things like "Lets see the next level" and other similar comments obviously from some campaign, and I have a good few positive ones. I reckon if those from the campaign were removed I would be above average.
If it makes you feel better once we've seen the last level well all give you a little boost to get you back where you deserve.
It would be quite interesting to see the number of reps someone has received as well as their level. i.e people in the middle tiers, is that because nobody noticed they exist or because the community is ambivalent towards them.

Except the campaign only started in earnest once you reached "chutney spoon" and were already the lowest-repped poster on the board. Now it's a mockery but you got most of the way on merit.

I'm afraid not, I can see that people neg repping me from the start for being a sockie, which I am not, i.e. not based on the content of my posts. All my positives have come from post contents being regarded as funny or witty. In fact 98% of my negs seem to be form the campaign and the usual your a sockie crap.
I would bet my house on your positives all being from your sockies and negs from the tedium of your posts.

I've had 26 reps from Monday to Today. I think the level of repping has gone up recently
I've had 5 from EO, 3 from OG and I've repped myself at least 3 times.
