Assuming it's a mySQL db and the rep number field is a signed int the smallest number that can be accomodated is –2147483648, so we've some way to go. 10 out of 10 for optimism though
Well, that's the new challenge we needed - start repping him!!!
Little bit of disingenuous disinformation there considering this is MF's sockie.
It's been confirmed by two Mods and MF even used it to neg rep me "Meh" after we'd had one of our lover's tiffs.
Must try harder.

Look d000hg, I know you are trying your best to keep the delusion alive that you are popular because of the rep system here, given your lack of real friends and probable bullying at school/work/home, I can understand it. But this is an anonymous forum, please don't waste your life looking for achievement in the rep system.

The reality is that a high rep is meaningless - look at MF. He spends his days in a cocaine frenzy dishing out rep from his sockies so that he can +ve rep himself. Who else would bother?
However, a low rep is spot on. Look at the company you keep.

I work from home, there's nobody else here to bully me.
On a serious note, does the fact the forum is anonymous matter? Doesn't the fact it all gets averaged out mean that those at the very top are widely liked and those at the very bottom are regarded as annoying/dull? Of course there are silly rep-wars but on average shouldn't those cancel out?

WDS, on the whole rep will show a true picture of valued posters v wastes of space.
Never has a man been heard to say on his death bed that he wishes he'd spent more time in the office.

I guess you are right, looking at the rep comments for me 95% of the negs are saying things like "Lets see the next level" and other similar comments obviously from some campaign, and I have a good few positive ones. I reckon if those from the campaign were removed I would be above average.
