You can get them for your kids too and the mrs of course, so for some people here it might be a decent amount to stash away. -

Not sure about Premium bonds. Seems a waste of money. Even if you believe the RPI figures and are happy with 0.5% return for a 5 year investment, what about the biggie: that the pound is going to be worth flip all in 5 years. Isn't the economic plan to inflate let savers pay?Comment
